Rev Dr Burt Burleson<\/strong>

Senior Pastor<\/strong>

Rev. Burleson holds a Bachelor’s degree from Baylor University, a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After fifteen years in student ministry and pastoral counseling, Burt became the first pastor of the new DaySpring Baptist Church in Waco, serving for 12 and a half years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2007 Burt left DaySpring to become University Chaplain and Dean of Spiritual Life at Baylor, where he served for 18 years. Along with pastoral services, he oversaw numerous campus ministries and programs. Burt became Pastor at St. Peter’s Church in June of 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Charlotte<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Charlotte Albert<\/strong>

Licensed Minister<\/strong>

Charlotte assists with pastoral care for the congregation. After attending classes for two years, she was licensed in 2006 to be a minister through the Heart of Texas Association of the South Central Conference of the United Church of Christ.

Charlotte and her husband, Bill, joined St. Peter\u2019s in 1981. She was active in church life and shortly became very active in the UCC association, conference, and national church, serving as a delegate representing St. Peter’s and serving on committees and boards. Charlotte especially enjoys mission work, assisting with communion to shut ins, and visiting with families in crisis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

David Cappolino<\/strong>

Music Director<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Playing beautiful music on Sunday mornings is the very talented David Cappolino. He has a broad range of musical experience, serving as pianist\/organist for multiple churches in Central Texas for more than 30 years. He holds a Bachelor of Music degree from The University of Texas as well as an MBA. David and his wife, Karen, have a son, David, who works in advertising in New York City. They also have three badly behaved, but lovable pups – Oscar, Felix and Ziggy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Barbara<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Barbara Coleman<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Church Secretary<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Barbara Coleman has been the Church Secretary at St. Peters since November 2016. Prior to joining the staff, Barbara worked at the City of Austin for 23 years. She\u2019s a native Austinite who currently lives in Hutto. Barbara received an Associate of Arts Degree from Blinn Jr. College and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Radio, TV, Film from Sam Houston State University. Barbara is responsible for running the office and preparing weekly worship bulletins, PowerPoint slides, funeral programs, monthly newsletters, and materials for monthly Council Meetings and Called Congregational Meetings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
